The powder and granule transport can be achieved by means of pneumatic systems which can be both at high pressure and low speed (> 1 bar) and at low pressure and high speed (< 1 bar). The first use a low pressure blower or a fan as a carrier, while the power supply system is made up of dedicated unloaders. The second type of system uses compressed air to carry the product across the line at relatively low speeds. These systems are equipped with a propeller for transport in dense phase (commonly called "pear") to maintain pressure along the line. With these techniques it is possible to transport the substances with low power and operating costs which are low if compared to usual mechanical transport systems. These devices lead to a complete automation, completely avoiding secondary environmental problems with hazardous dust. [widgetkit id=113]
